Event Disclaimers, Cancellation Policies & Hotel Discounts

Thank you for choosing CBA programming.  To support the association’s sound business practices, we have the following policies in place.

REGISTRATION BEST PRACTICES:

  • Use CBA’s Member Compass for individual user credentials to access member pricing.
  • Check program availability before registering; use the a la carte option if attending all sessions is uncertain.
  • For multi-session certification programs (i.e. CBLA), each registrant must attend all sessions in a calendar year to receive certification. Due to the nature of the certification process, no attendee substitutions are allowed.

PAYMENT:

  • Effective 8/9/2024, payment is due at registration—no invoices will be issued. This ensures better event management and resource allocation. 

CONFIRMATIONS:

  • Automated confirmations are sent upon registration; detailed instructions follow one week before the program. If not received, check your junk folder or contact education@cbaofga.com

 CANCELLATION POLICIES:

  • Employee substitutions are welcome.
  • Written cancellations received: 
    • 30+ days prior: 100% refund/credit.
    • 15–29 days prior: 50% refund/credit.
    • Less than 15 days: No refund/credit, but substitutions allowed.
  • A $50 fee applies for switching between in-person and virtual options. 

PRE-PAID PACKAGES & EARLY BIRD SPECIAL PRICING:
Banks who choose pre-paid packages & early bird special pricing, will understand the following:

  • Prepayment is required by the designated deadline.
  • No Program substitutions or cancellations. Employee substitutions are welcome.
  • Banks are responsible for registering for each program benefit. 

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:
Participants must complete at least 80% of the course to earn credits. Virtual attendees must submit CPE codes provided during the session.

VIRTUAL PROGRAMS - CBA'S LIVE STREAM:

One paid registration permits one participant and access to program resources. Additional participants require separate registrations.

CONSENT TO USE PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES:
By registering for or attending CBA events, participants agree to allow CBA to use their image or voice in event-related media, including photographs, videos, and audio recordings. 

SUITCASING:
Suitcasing is the act of soliciting business during the exhibit networking times or in other public spaces by non-exhibiting companies, including another company's booth or a convention center/hotel lobby. It is CBA’s objective to do everything possible to protect our Exhibitors and community banker attendees from suitcasing.

EVENT FACILITIES:
CBA has negotiated a special hotel room rate for our events that we hold down in Macon, Georgia. To receive these special rates, mention that you are with the Community Bankers Association of Georgia. Rates are as follows:
