ICBA President & CEO Visits Georgia

Century Bank and Trust, Milledgeville, had the honor of hosting Rebeca Romero Rainey, President and CEO of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), during her visit to Georgia. Derek Williams, President & CEO of Century Bank and Trust, and longtime CBA Board Member, served as host for her visit which included a reception held in her honor.

Derek is a former Chair of both the CBA and ICBA, and he was the first Georgian to serve as ICBA Chair in 40 years. The reception for Rebeca included local bankers, industry leaders, and CBA President & CEO John McNair. The event provided a unique opportunity for Georgia’s community bankers to hear directly from one of the nation’s leading advocates for the industry.

Rebeca also joined Century Bank’s monthly officers meeting, where she shared timely insights into the future of community banking and highlighted the powerful impact local banks have nationwide.
