Queensborough National Bank & Trust Company, Swainsboro, was named Emanuel County Live Forest-Blade's Readers’ Choice Best Credit Counseling, Best Bank Teller- Catherine Crapps and Best Mortgage Company.

BankSouth, Greensboro, recently presented St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital with a $100,000 donation through the Georgia HEART Rural Hospital Tax Credit Program. This is the fourth year in a row BankSouth has contributed to St. Mary’s. 

South Georgia Banking Company, Cordele, hosted a financial literacy class at Pinecrest Baptist Church, drawing around 75 attendees. Beverly Partain led an insightful discussion on identity theft, offering practical advice on safeguarding personal information, securing accounts, and monitoring credit for fraud.

The Marketing/Communications team at SouthState Bank, Atlanta, recently used their expertise to help Hands On Atlanta.  They performed a website audit detailing improvements that can optimize the site and drive more traffic to their homepage, developed a marketing campaign, refined their email strategy and built out a thorough event plan.

Planters First Bank, Cordele, recently welcomed all of Pulaski County Schools' faculty, staff, and board members with special treats.

Scott Doll, ACOO and board member, John Steele, from American Commerce Bank, Bremen, made a donation to Your Family's Table, an organization that provides handmade dinner tables for families who receive homes from Habitat for Humanity.

Team members from First Port City Bank, Bainbridge, made visits to Decatur County Schools, Grace Christian Academy, and Seminole County Schools to deliver snacks to teachers returning to school. The bank also hosted the Decatur County Schools Teacher of the Year Luncheon.
