During this session, we will be reviewing HR and Compliance requirements along with best practices for the second half of the year. We will highlight a year end checklist. 


Finance 101 for HR Professionals
HR professionals looking to become strategic partners in the bank must understand the finance and accounting areas of the bank. Join us as we discuss the foundations of finance for HR. Learn the basics as well as how to source financial data on your bank and how to “talk the talk” when you approach Senior Management and the Board of Directors with a business proposition. 


ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: 
Temika Hopson has over 11 years experience in the HR industry and is SHRM certified. She has a passion for building lasting relationships and recognizes the value of excellent service with a positive attitude. She has experience in demonstrating, implementing and servicing HRIS systems and collaborating with other departments. Temika graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
