StoneCastle was founded in 2003 to bridge the gap between institutional investors and the community banking industry. For the past decade, StoneCastle has been a leading administrator of insured cash solutions for many of the world’s largest institutions. StoneCastle offers liquidity and funding to banks through its FICA (Federally Insured Cash Account) Deposit Network Program.
For its institutional investors, FICA’s investment objective is to provide a high level of current income while maintaining liquidity and providing maximum safety. To meet this objective, FICA’s strategy is to send deposits to network banks backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government. When a bank joins StoneCastle’s FICA Network, StoneCastle opens one deposit account at the bank and deposits its investor funds upon the banks request.
