CBA Board of Directors Meeting: A Tour of the Fed & Strategic Discussions at ICBA Innovation Center

Last week, the CBA Board of Directors convened in Atlanta for a dynamic and insightful gathering that combined industry education, strategic planning, and networking.
The meeting began with a tour of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, hosted by John Douglas, Director of Examinations and Supervisory Outreach/Supervision, Regulation, and Credit (SRC). Scott Hughes, Director of the Risk Analysis Unit in the Supervision and Regulation division of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta provided an economic update.
The board then met at the ICBA Innovation offices in Atlanta, hosted by Charles Potts, EVP/Chief Innovation Officer and Kevin Tweddle, Senior EVP, Innovation at ICBA. 2024-2025 CBA Board Chairman, Frank Griffin, Flint Community Bank, led the meeting which included a presentation from ICBA Innovation, CBA committee reports and a presentation from sponsor Alex Jernigan from SHAZAM.
The meeting underscored CBA’s dedication to advocacy, innovation, and education, ensuring that Georgia’s community banks remain strong and well-positioned for the future.
