The Ameris Bank Foundation is committing $50,000 to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts from recent hurricanes that have impacted communities across the Southeast. Read more. Citizens Bank of Laurens County- Dublin, participated in the Dublin Laurens County Chamber of Commerce’s 23rd-Annual Membership Appreciation Day & Trade Show.
South Georgia Banking Company, Tifton delivered donations to Georgia Power and Colquitt EMC to support the linemen restoring power in the recent hurricane. The bank contributed snacks and water enhancers.	Planters First Bank, Hawkinsville - SVP/Consumer Lender Bobbie Clemons and VP/Consumer Lender Linda Jones read to Pre-K Students at Little Children Growing.
Planters First Bank, Cordele, presented a $50,000 contribution to the Georgia HEART Rural Hospital Tax Credit Program to benefit Crisp Regional Hospital.	Exchange Bank, Lake Oconee, sponsored Lake Oconee Academy’s Tee for Titans Golf Tournament.
Century Bank and Trust, Milledgeville, sponsored the 10th Annual Golf Tournament at Harbor Club with all proceeds benefiting Circle of Love, an organization that offers a haven for victims of domestic violence. Also – team members from Century Bank & Trust, Milledgeville, had a fantastic time sponsoring and attending the Georgia College & State University Bobcat Bash.	SunMark Community Bank, Perry - September Casual for a Cause charity was Action for Kindness, which helps families and individuals with their basic needs. The bank collected diapers and wipes.
	The BankSouth Watkinsville team had a great time volunteering at the United Way Days of Caring week at Lydia's Place. Events like this remind us of the importance of community and working together to lift one another up.
Team members from Queensborough National Bank & Trust Co., Swainsboro, volunteered at the Kite Church of God's mobile laundromat.
