BankSouth Foundation and Employees Raise $36,100 for Hurricane Helene Relief The BankSouth Foundation launched a matching donation program for BankSouth and BankSouth Mortgage employees, providing critical resources to help those affected by the hurricanes. Employees from Exchange Bank, Milledgeville, donated $1,600 to United Way of Central Georgia. The funds were raised through the Exchange Bank C.A.R.E.s Fund, an employee-driven initiative that allows staff to contribute a portion of their paychecks to support local nonprofits dedicated to helping those in need. |
BHG Financial has donated $10,000 between Heart of Georgia United Way, Inc. and United Way of Toombs, Montgomery & Wheeler Counties to help those in the communities impacted by Hurricane Helene! Exchange Bank, Milledgeville recently hosted its third annual First Responder Luncheon and Blood Drive. More than 200 local heroes from law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other emergency services attended, and the blood drive collected 45 units of blood for neighboring hospitals. Read more. |
