American Commerce Bank, Johns Creek, sponsored the Emory Sports Medicine's Creek Cup high school soccer tournament at JC and Northview High Schools. It was the first local high school soccer tournament in over 15 years and featured 20 teams from throughout the Southeast.

United National Bank, Cairo donated $30,000 to the Cairo High School College & Career Academy through the Peach Tax Credit.

Century Bank & Trust, Milledgeville, welcomed students from St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Milledgeville Day School. Each student brought in 100 pennies to run through the coin counting machine and exchanged them for a crisp $1 bill.
