Employees from Durden Banking Company, Twin City participated in the Reality Check event at Jenkins County High School, taking students through real-world budgeting exercises and leading the student loan station to teach financial impact and decision-making.	Georgia First Bank, Soperton, congratulates the 2025 Youth Leadership. Congrats to Scholarship Winners Jeremiah Dorsey and Kaitlyn Hackle and Perfect Attendance Savannah Rayburn, Jeremiah Dorsey, Jakob Brooks and Kaitlyn Rayburn.
Exchange Bank, Milledgeville, sponsored GCSU’s Annual Atkinson Honors Night. This event celebrates the students and faculty of the College of Business & Technology at Georgia College.
Queensborough National Bank & Trust Company, Statesboro, team members volunteered at the Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market, enjoying a day of community interaction with local farmers and families.	Planters First Bank team members Lina and Bobbie served on the panel for Hawkinsville High School’s Mock Interviews.
BankSouth, Greensboro, presented a Financial Literacy class to the Teens and Tweens of the Pete Nance Boys and Girls Club of Greensboro! Titled “Working Hard for the Money,” the workshop focused on helping students start to think about their future career paths and what it means to work toward financial independence.
Throughout Financial Literacy Month in April, Colony Bank is offering Fraud Awareness Events across the bank’s markets. A big thank you to our local law enforcement partners for joining us at many of these and helping spread the word about what’s happening right here in our communities.	Hyperion Bank, Atlanta sponsored the Atlanta Police Foundation’s annual Link Up Against Crime golf tournament at Cherokee Town and Country Club, supporting public safety initiatives and engaging with APD Command Staff.
The Southeastern Bank Community Foundation awarded a $1,000 grant to Camden Community Family Center, Inc. to support foster care reunification efforts. The Foundation also awarded a $5,000 grant to the Charlton County UGA Extension Office to buy a trailer for the local 4-H program.
Robins Regional Chamber Youth Leadership Program and SunMark Community Bank, Perry/Warner Robins, led a financial literacy session on budgeting, saving and credit score essentials for high school participants.	First Port City, Bainbridge, celebrated the start of youth baseball season, sponsoring three teams and partnering with the Bainbridge-Decatur County Recreation Authority to support local ballfield improvements.
