Bank team members from Planters First Bank, Hawkinsville wrote personal notes of congratulations and well wishes for each 2024 Hawkinsville High School graduate.

Members of River City Bank’s Rome team volunteered with DIGS Inc. at the Rome Emperors concession stand. A portion of all purchases went towards DIGS, which provides safe housing, work, & leisure opportunities for adults with developmental challenges.

Bulloch First, Statesboro, sponsored a Bulloch County child for 4-H camp this summer. The bank matched the employees' jeans Friday contributions.

Planters First Bank, Cordele, treated staff at Pulaski County Schools to breakfast and snacks in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week.

Embassy National Bank, Lawrenceville, recently participated in “A Brush with Kindness event for Gwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity.

Team members from multiple locations of South Georgia Banking Company read to students in schools across their communities on National Teach Children to Save Day.

SunMark Community Bank recently held the ribbon cutting for their new branch located at 140 Commerce Street in Hawkinsville.

Also at SunMark Community Bank, employees at the Perry office presented its April Casual Cause funds to United in Pink, Central Georgia’s breast cancer family resource provider of emotional, social, and financial support for individuals and their families.

Traditions Bank, a Division of Rabun County Bank, Clarkesville, held a groundbreaking last week for the bank’s new location in Clarkesville, the second in Habersham County. Sidney Rowland is the market president. Eclipse Brand Builders was awarded the contract. 

Exchange Bank, Milledgeville,  has selected Emma Kate Godin has been selected as one of four recipients of the Exchange Bank Scholarship for $1,500.  Emma is a student at Georgia Military College Prep School and plans to attend University of Georgia. Read more.
