Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to mitigate financial, operational, and reputational risks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and evaluations to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and report on the bank’s risk profile, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote a risk-aware culture and ensure effective risk management practices are in place.
• Prepare and present risk and compliance reports to senior management, the board of directors and regulators.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to inform strategic decision-making.
• Lead risk and compliance management training sessions for staff to enhance understanding of risk-related issues.
Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of risk and compliance management frameworks, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
