Tech Talk South - A Day of Learning, Discussion and Action Plans

Tech Talk South exemplified a true collaboration between CBA bankers and providers with a common goal of moving banks forward in their innovation efforts.

Hosted at the Bank of Dudley, Dublin, CBA President & CEO John McNair, kicked off the day with a warm welcome, recognizing sponsors, presenters, and David Saylor, Marisa Reynolds and Drew Kessler, Genesys Technology Group, for spearheading the agenda.

CBA Innovation Co-Chair Christian Ruppe, Colony Bank, Atlanta, invited attendees to join CBA’s Innovation Committee and offered his assistants to banks in their innovation efforts. 

David Saylor and Marisa Reynolds led group discussions after each educational presentation. Thanks to event sponsors:  Allison,  HuLoop  Automation, IBT Apps, Plinqit, and Wipfli. Participants enjoyed hearing from Core10, Finosec, Thought Machine and True North. 

The theme for the day was “Innovating Beyond Your Legacy Systems: Leveraging APIs, Integration, and Fintech in Modern Banking.”  Sessions included a deep dive into leveraging APIs, integrating with systems developers, and collaborating with third-party fintech solutions. The day ended with a group discussion and a 30-day challenge to reconnect and share successes, action plans and more.
