Valdosta Hosts Final 2024 Town Hall Talk: A Platform for Bankers and Legislators

Last Thursday, November 14, 2024, community bankers gathered at the Valdosta Country Club for the final Town Hall Talk of the year. These banker-only events provide a unique opportunity to connect with legislative leaders, ask pressing questions, and gain insights into policy matters that affect community banks.

Once again, CBA partnered with the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). Key legislative leaders attending included Rep. Chas Cannon, Sen. Russ Goodman, and Sen. Sam Watson, who addressed pressing topics such as the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and its impact on local businesses and banking communities.
