Calling for Involvement: CBA of GA's LEAD Board Talent Acquisition and Financial Literacy Committee

CBA Today eNewsletter,

We are pleased to announce that the LEAD Board of the Community Bankers Association (CBA) of Georgia is organizing a statewide talent recruitment series designed to benefit our members. To ensure the success of this initiative, we are seeking your valuable input.

The LEAD Board, in collaboration with interested members, will be identifying career fairs at community colleges, technical schools, and universities across Georgia. Our aim is to facilitate connections between community bankers and top talent emerging from these educational institutions.

How You Can Contribute:

  • Reach out to local community colleges, technical schools, and universities.
  • Inquire about their upcoming Career Days or Career Fairs.
  • Share any relevant event information with us so that we can include it in our recruitment series.

Together, we can enhance the ability of community banks to attract the best and brightest talent Georgia has to offer. We kindly request that you send any career fair details to us at your earliest convenience which will allow us to plan for 2025 attendance at career fairs in your recruitment area.  You may email all leads to Becky Soto. Thank you to the LEAD subcommittee Talent Acquisition and Financial Literacy committee:  Jay Funderburke, Bank of Alapaha, Chair; Kenny Dray, BankSouth; and Jason Rooks, Flint Community Bank.

Thank you for your support and engagement in this important initiative.
