Georgia Legislative Session Begins Next Week – CBA Stands Ready to Represent YOU
The Georgia General Assembly is set to begin on January 13th and CBA stands ready to represent the interests of Georgia’s community banking industry. Under the direction of CBA’s COO and Chief Lobbyist, Lori Godfrey, support from CBA President & CEO John McNair, and our partnership with Fiveash-Stanley, our representation at the Capital has put us in a strong position again this year to continue to elevate the needs of community banks with the legislators and administration personnel.
The 2025 session promises to bring both challenges and opportunities for community banks. Now, more than ever, community bankers and industry supporters must remain engaged in the advocacy process. CBA offers a variety of opportunities to get involved, including Town Hall Talks, Clay Shoots, Day at the Braves, and Top Golf outings.
Advocacy is at the heart of our mission, and we are honored to serve as the voice of Georgia’s community banks. Together, we can ensure the industry’s continued growth and success for generations to come.
CBA Advocacy Update is published every Friday during the session. If you would like to receive, please email CBA to subscribe.
