Neil Shumans has been promoted to City President of the Moultrie Market of South Georgia Banking Company. His promotion follows the successful tenure of Chuck Bannister, who has served as City President of Moultrie for the past decade. Brandi Dean has been promoted to Lead Teller at First Port City Bank’s Eastside Express branch.

Marvalynn Carroll, EVP/CFO at First Port City Bank, Bainbridge, was named Best Banker in the 2024 Best of Bainbridge Readers Choice Awards presented by the Bainbridge Post-Searchlight. The bank was also voted Best Mortgage Lender and Best Loan Company.

Builtwell Bancorp, Inc., Chattanooga, TN and Bradley County Financial Corp. announced an agreement has been reached for Builtwell Bancorp, Inc. to acquire Bradley County Financial Corp., the holding company for Bank of Cleveland, headquartered in Cleveland, Tennessee, with four banking locations and a home loan center in Bradley County.  Read more.
