First Peoples Bank held a grand opening and ribbon cutting on April 24^th for their new full service branch in Old Town, Columbus. The branch is located at 8188 Frank Houser Avenue. 

Representatives from SunMark Community Bank, Perry, recently attended career day at Morningside Elementary School for its Girls with Pride Group, where they spoke about careers in banking and presented a financial literacy class.

Team members from The First Bank, Waycross, donated over 30 volunteer hours with Rebuilding Together to renovate a home for a community member in need. Renovations were sponsored by The First including installing new doors and a water heater, enclosing a porch and updating kitchen cabinetry.

Peach State Bank & Trust, Gainesville, was named the Hall County Board of Realtors 2023 Affiliate of the Year at their annual awards banquet recently.

Employees at Exchange Bank, Milledgeville, recently established the ExchangeBank C.A.R.E.s Fund, donating a portion of their paychecks to support local non-profits. Employees plan to donate more than $10,000 to six different organizations in 2024. They recently presented a check to the Jeanna Baugh Montgomery Cancer Support Foundation.
